Since the founding of Blue Fountain back in 2017, the goal has been to be a company where every customer was treated as though they were the top client of the firm. Our leaders were chosen because they share that vision and personify what it means to be a Blue Fountain Advisor, and this foundation has allowed us to grow in size and scope while remaining grounded in our guiding principles.
Jimi Curry
Founding Partner

Jimi Curry, our founding partner, created Blue Fountain in 2017 and has spent his entire 15-year career in Financial Services. He serves the clients of the firm as both lead financial advisor and lead portfolio manager. His role in the firm is unique but indicative of his background, experience, and education. Jimi’s ability to work well with people from very diverse beginnings came from his experience both growing up in the small East Texas town of Lufkin and spending summers abroad in India, Mexico, and Argentina. He combines these life experiences with his educational background to provide clients the financial advice they desire and pursue the outcome they desire from their investments.
Jimi resides in Frisco, Texas and Miami, Florida, with his wife Carina and their three sons Jackson, Austin, and Josiah. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter, and holds a BS in Pre-Law studies from The University of Texas, Tyler, as well as a Master’s Degree with Honors in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona.
Ryan Neal

Ryan Neal joined Blue Fountain in 2019 to open the firm’s McKinney location, as well as to serve as Managing Partner of all the North Texas region. His career spans over 12 years in the financial services industry. Ryan greatly expanded the ability of the firm to serve clients in the DFW area, but his work in leading the plan design and implementation team is felt firm wide.
Ryan’s ability to build and grow an office with a true “local feel” comes from his experience and the deep roots he has established living in the McKinney and Van Alstyne community over the years. Since joining the firm, Ryan continues to show our clients his ability to deliver strategic financial advice, unique planning ideas, and a true partnership mentality make a real difference in pursuing the outcomes they desire.
Ryan resides in Van Alstyne, Texas with his wife Kassi and two children Rian and Everett. He currently sits on the City Council as Alderman and serves in the community at Pin Oaks Church. Ryan has a degree in Finance from the University of North Texas, where his daughter Rian will be attending starting Fall of 2023.
Chris Hathaway
Managing Partner
With over two decades of wealth management expertise, Chris joined Blue Fountain in September 2023. A seasoned advisor based in the dynamic business hub of Dallas-Fort Worth, Chris specializes in catering to the unique financial needs of the families and businesses he serves. He brings a wealth of strategic insights to empower his clients in achieving their financial goals.
Having recently transitioned to a new firm, Chris' commitment to personalized service and comprehensive financial planning remains unwavering. He prides himself on cultivating long-term relationships built on trust, transparency, and a deep understanding of each client's aspirations.
Chris and his wife, Kathy, live in Plano, TX and have three children, Victoria, Caroline, and Nicholas. Prior to his career in financial services, Chris honorably served in the US Army and received his finance degree from the University of North Texas. In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with family, running, and coaching youth sports.
